There are many institutions working in the field of education. The purpose behind it is to ensure that students benefit from the complete experience of life and education. With this objective, the 'Krishi Jeevan Vikas Pratishthan, Yenbodi Chandrapur' established the Dalit Mitra V.T. Nagpure D.Ed. College at Gondpipri in Chandrapur district. This step was taken especially for the neglected tribal communities.
Education and training are complementary to each other. Education is gained through life experiences, while training enlightens education and drives action. It also encourages the application of acquired knowledge and skills. Training is what makes one capable of facing new challenges in changing circumstances and solving emerging problems. It is 'training' that helps one excel! Education is the overall development of a teacher’s confidence and effectiveness.
In the teaching profession, many changes occur over time. Along with teaching in the curriculum, there is now a responsibility for teachers to play a role in the process of social transformation. Our teacher training college has made valuable contributions in creating this responsibility and providing the necessary intellectual foundation.
Dalit Mitra Ma. Vi. Tu. Nagpure D.Ed. College was established in 1993. This D.Ed. College is the only institution in Chandrapur district dedicated to the educational, social, and cultural development of tribal communities. This is a matter of pride for us. The success of this institution lies in the transformed, educated, and cultured trainees, both internally and externally, due to the training provided. This institution has played a key role in improving the academic standards of tribal students in primary education.
